Activity Details
- Duration: Typically takes about 1 to 1.5 hours in the early evening. Tours usually start right after sunset, around 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
- Who is it for?: Absolutely everyone! It is a gentle, safe, and family-friendly activity perfect for couples, children, and elderly travelers.
- The Ecosystem: The fireflies congregate specifically around the Sonneratia caseolaris (Lamphu) trees, which thrive in the brackish water of the Tapi River estuary.
- Safety First: Life jackets are provided on all boats, and the local boatmen are highly experienced in navigating the river at night.
- What to Bring: A light jacket (as it can get breezy on the water), insect repellent, and a camera.
- Important Note: Please remember to turn off your camera flash, as sudden bright lights will disturb the fireflies and disrupt their natural glowing patterns!

6:30 PM : Pick you up from Hotel in Phunphin or Surat Thani downtown
7:00 PM : Get on board private long tail boat ride in Tapee river to "Lampoo" Tree to see firefiles blinking around the trees. after finish boating you able to take a walk Night Market.
9:00 - 10:00 PM : Return to your Hotel
