Hin Phad

• Natural Marvel: Hin Phad consists of two rocks stacked on top of each other. The upper rock is large and shaped like a fan, or from some angles, a heart. What's truly astonishing is that the upper rock isn't fully attached to the lower one, leaving a visible gap that creates a sense of wonder and curiosity for visitors.
• Height and Size: Hin Phad stands approximately 5-6 meters tall (some sources say 8 meters) with a base about 30 centimeters wide, making it seem impossibly balanced.
• Resemblance to Kyaiktiyo Pagoda: Its unique and gravity-defying appearance often leads many to compare Hin Phad to the "Kyaiktiyo Pagoda" (Golden Rock) in Myanmar.
• Stunning Viewpoint: The area around Hin Phad offers spectacular panoramic views of Kirirat Nikhom District and Ban Ta Khun District. It's especially beautiful in the early morning when a sea of mist often blankets the landscape, creating a heavenly atmosphere. It's also a fantastic spot to watch both the sunrise and sunset.

Beliefs and Legends

It's believed that Hin Phad was discovered by hunters thousands of years ago. There's a local belief that if you touch and rub the rock, then toss a coin into the gap at its base while making a wish for love, career, or married life, your wish will come true.
